Chitere Okoronkwo, 20, have been arrested on Monday by the Nigerian Police force for allegedly assassinating her ex-boyfriend Osigwe Johnmark, a 24-year-old final year Biotechnology student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.
Chitere Okoronkwo has since confessed to the August 8th 2018 Assassination, While confirming the news, the state Commissioner of Police.
“When their relationship got sour and ended, the girl demanded compensation.
In views to reports, the deceased after he was threatened multiple times before being assassinated.
He had paid the sum of N1.8 million for shop rent and also N2 million for interior decoration of the shop to the estranged girlfriend Chitere Okoronkwo.
She also demanded the sum of N3m, which the deceased victim gave through a lawyer.
Before the money was finally paid to the lady, he was found dead inside his Mercedes SUV.
The lady fled to South Africa after his death. Okoronkwo has confessed that she told a guy that she wanted the victim dead due to their misunderstanding.
